Understanding My Music in Windows XP

The My Music folder is the place where Windows automatically saves all the audio clips you download from the Internet or save on your hard drive with Windows Media Player. The My Music folder, like My Pictures, is an automatic part of the My Documents folder.

To open the My Music folder from the Windows XP desktop, click the Start button and then click My Music (normally third from the top in the right-hand column in the Start pop-up menu). To open this folder from another folder, such as My Computer, click the Address bar drop-down button (on the right side) and then click My Documents at the top of the pop-up list (right below Desktop at the very top). You can then open My Music by double-clicking that folder icon (the one with the music note in it) in the My Documents window.

Like the folders in My Pictures, the folders in My Music appear in thumbnail view. To play a particular audio file that you've saved in the My Music folder with Windows Media Player, right-click the file icon and then click Play on the shortcut menu. Windows Media Player opens and begins playing your selection.

To play all the audio files in a particular folder, click the folder icon before clicking the Play All hyperlink in the Music Tasks section of the My Music folder. To play all of the audio clips and tracks saved in the My Music folder, make sure that no folder or file is selected before you click the Play All hyperlink.

500 website Malaysia yang di hack oleh hacker Indonesia

Serangan para hacker Indonesia terhadap 500-an website Malaysia pada hari kemerdekaan mereka 31 Agustus 2010 kemarin masih saja menjadi buah bibir. Aksi heroik para hacker ini sungguh-sungguh monumental dan menaikkan moral sebagian masyarakat Indonesia yang mengetahui berita aksi tersebut.

Saya baca, dengar, dan lihat komentar berbagai pihak atas aksi hacker Indonesia ini. Mayoritas menganggap itu ide brilian, cerdas, taktis, dan seperti penilaian saya sendiri, itu membanggakan. Ada juga sih yang mengecilkan arti serangan mereka itu.

Lalu iseng-iseng saya mengalkulasi dampak serangan hacker Indonesia atas situs-situs penting Malaysia. Asal Anda tahu, masuk dalam ratusan situs yang dilumpuhkan itu adalah situs pemerintah, situs lembaga pendidikan, situs perusahaan, sekuritas, trading, dan masih banyak lagi jenis situs-situs komersial yang menggunakan intsrumen internet sebagai media transaksi.

Mari ambil perkiraan konservatif bahwa masing-masing lembaga yang dimediumi situs tersebut memiliki nilai transaksi antara minimal Rp 100 juta hingga Rp 1 miliar per hari. Saya ambil nilai tengahnya Rp 500 juta nilai transaksi per hari, maka dalam sehari saja kerugian yang diderita oleh 500 situs/institusi itu mencapai Rp 250 miliar! Jika sebulan penuh gangguan itu tidak berhasil diatasi, kerugiannya akan mencapai Rp 7,5 triliun.

Hanya sebuah perang kecil yang dijalankan oleh anak-anak SMA atau kuliahan, dikerjakan di warnet-warnet atau dengan komputer-komputer dan laptop pinjaman, dampaknya sudah begitu menusuk ekonomi Malaysia. Anda bisa bayangkan, itu aksi-aksi spontanitas belaka, bukan aksi yang terencana layaknya perang para jenderal kita lho!

Saya telusuri informasi di internet, 2009 lalu hanya 100 website yang mereka ganyang. Kemarin meningkat menjadi 500 website dan Anda bisa bayangkan kerugiannya seperti apa. Kita tidak tahu esok hari akan berapa banyak lagi yang mereka lumpuhkan. Asal tahu saja, hacker Indonesia juga pernah menyusupi website Mossad, agen rahasia Israel. Pamor hacker kita kondang sekali di dunia maya.

Kalau sudah begitu, apa sih yang tidak bisa mereka sikat? Ekonomi Malaysia sebagai jantung kehidupan negara itu bisakah? Saya tidak menyepelekan kemampuan para hacker Indonesia ini. Salut atas patriotisme dan kecerdasan mereka.

5 Ways Android 2.1 Work Like Froyo

Still waiting for Android 2.2? Given the slow pace of Froyo's rollout to Android phones, sometimes it feels like waiting for Godot. And if you're especially unlucky, the new version of the operating system won't even make it to your phone. But if you're impatient for Froyo, or if your phone will never get it, there's something you can do -- give Android 2.1 some of the features of 2.2. Even without the update, you can tether your computer to your smartphone, control your phone with your voice, get additional home screens and more.

Note: This article was written based on tests using a Droid X, so there might be slight differences when you try them on your Android phone. In addition, because Android's interface has been tweaked for some smartphone models, the tips in this article might not all work on all Android 2.1 phones.

Tether your laptop

Probably the niftiest new feature of Froyo is its ability to tether an Android phone to a laptop -- in other words, it can give your computer broadband wireless access through your smartphone. Are you an Android 2.1 user (or an owner of the original Droid, which will not be given this feature)? Don't fret -- you can do all this without Froyo. And in some ways, it's even better, because you may not have to pay the $20 or so fee that carriers tack on for the rights to tether a smartphone. Service contracts are often not clear about whether you are allowed to tether this way free of charge. But I've known several people who do it without paying the fee, and their service providers haven't said a word.

PDAnet lets you tether your smartphone to your laptop.

It's exceptionally easy, thanks to an app called PDAnet. Just install PDAnet on an Android phone, and load the accompanying software on a computer running Windows 7, Vista or XP or Mac OS X 10.5 or later. Then connect a USB cable between the computer and the smartphone, and then run the software on both devices. The computer will be connected to the Internet via the smartphone.

When you're connected, the PDAnet app on your phone gives connection information such as the amount of data you've transferred.

Instead of using a USB cable, you can connect your laptop to your smartphone via a Bluetooth connection, although in that case you'll have to go through the sometimes problematic steps of Bluetooth pairing.

There are two versions of the software. The free version has one limitation -- you can't visit secure Web sites that use the HTTPS protocol, such as the ones you use when you pay for something you buy online. To visit secure Web sites, you'll have to buy the paid version for $23.95. (According to the PDAnet Web site, there currently is a limited-time price of $18.95.)

If you use this software, you'll need to check the terms of service with your wireless provider, because your contract may not allow tethering.

Note: You may have problems using this software on a Droid X phone with a Mac, as I did. Here's the fix: When you connect the Droid X to a Mac via USB, you'll need to go to your notifications list on the Droid X and select "USB Mass Storage." You may also need to turn off the screen on the Droid X but leave the power on.

Speed up Android

By all accounts, one of the best things about Froyo is that it makes Android phones faster and more responsive. While there's no direct way to speed up an Android 2.1 phone, there are some steps you can take to make it move a bit more quickly.

The first isn't a surefire solution. I'm including it here because some people report that it works, but others say it doesn't work. I'll leave it up to your discretion to try it if you want.

Task Killer is one of several apps that let you kill running processes.

Android multitasks, and many people don't close down an app in Android when they no longer want to use it. They just head back to the main screen and run another app. So that first or second or third app might still be running, sucking up memory and processor time.

Android includes routines for cleaning up apps that you no longer use, but some people believe it doesn't work as well as it should. So they use a task killer that lets them view all of the currently running apps and background services, and they kill any they don't want to run -- either automatically (for example, when the phone isn't being used) or manually.

There are several task killers you can get for free from the Android Market. I tried two of them: Task Manager from Adao Team and Task Killer from ReChild. Both work similarly -- they display all the apps currently running with a checkbox next to each, and they let you kill any app you no longer want to use by unchecking the box. I found that Task Killer displayed more tasks and services to kill than did Task Manager, although to be honest I didn't notice any speed difference after using either of them.

Beberapa hari ini di berbagai media sedang memberitakan panasnya hubungan Indonesia-Malaysia ternyata juga merembet ke dunia maya. Tulisan yang mengejek dan melecahkan bangsa Indonesia terpampang dalam sejumlah situs yang diduga dilakukan para blogger Malaysia. Blog Menghina Indonesia inilah kata kunci yang merupakan blog yang berisi penghinaan terhadap negara Indonesia.

Sejumlah pihak saat ini sangat prihatin tentang pemberitaan ini, termasuk Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Tifatul Sembiring serta Ketua Blogger Jakarta Enda Nasution. Pihak lain juga berharap panasnya hubungan kedua bangsa di dunia maya tidak berlanjut dalam bentuk yang lebih jauh.

Tulisan yang mengejek bangsa Indonesia terpampang dalam sejumlah situs yang diduga dilakukan para blogger Malaysia. Mulai dari teks lagu kebangsaan Indonesia Raya yang dibuah hingga masalah tenaga kerja Indonesia.

Mau perang sama MALAYSIA !!! 4 Negara siap mengeroyok Indonesia !!!

Wow !!! Berita yang sangat mengejutkan !! Jika Indonesia benar-benar akan berperang dengan MALAYSIA maka Indonesia juga harus bersiap-siap menghadapi 4 Negara sekasligus yaitu : Inggris, Australia, Singapura, dan Selandia baru. Karena Negara Malaysia memiliki pertahanan yang di sebut FDPA yang beranggotakan 4 Negara tersebut. Jika Malaysia mengaktifkan klausul pada aliansi tersebut maka 4 Negara tersebut dengan tanpa BA-BI-BU langsung akan siap untuk membantu Negara Malaysia. Belum lagi Inggris yang tergabung dalam NATO. Meski FDPA tersebut merupakan perjanjian yang sudah lama yaitu di tahun 1970-an namun menurut Jaleswari Pramodhawardani (Peneliti PUSLIT, PMB dan LIPI) perjanjian itu masih bisa berlaku kalo salh satu Negara mengeluarkan Klausul tersebut. Nah !!! daripada Negara ini mikir mau perang sama Malaysia mending mikirin dulu gimana cara membuka Lowongan Pekerjaan yang LAYAK untuk para TKI dan TKW yang bekerja di sana. Toh juga kita SERUMPUN alagkah baiknya kita untuk selalu menjaga perdamaian dan saling membantu !!!!

"Teenage Dream" Album baru Katy Perry

Katy Perry, penyanyi berusia 25 tahun dari California yang terkenal dengan “gaya fashion liar”-nya pada 24 Agustus 2010 lalu telah meluncurkan album terbarunya bertajuk “Teenage Dream” dan akan diluncurkan i seluruh dunia pada tanggal 30 Agustus nanti.
Pada cover album terbarunya ini Perry tampil begitu seksi dimana tanpa mengenakan selembar pakaianpun Perry terbaring telungkap diatas permen kapas berwarna merah muda, hanya bagian pantat saja yang tertutupi dengan sebagian permen kapas.
